Annual Golf Tournament |
The Band of the Hour Association hosts golf tournamenst to raise funds for its endowed scholarship funds. The golf tournament has been hosted at various South Florida golf courses and has proven incredibly successful.

Endowments |
The Band of the Hour Association has two major University of Miami Endowment Funds to which it contributes. The Dante B. Fascell Endowment and Michael Mann/Carmine Parente Endowment have a long term goal of promoting the welfare of the Band of the Hour through Band needs, financial aid and scholarships.

In 2012, the B.O.T.H.A. provided funds; from the Dante B. Fascell Endowment Fund; to assist the B.O.T.H. with their financial needs.

Association Awards Scholarships |
In 2009, $15,OOO was given to the Mann-Parente Scholarship Endowment Fund from the BOTHA Golf Tournaments. This fund generates the scholarships that we give annually.
In 2012 numerous scholarships were given out to some of the Band of the Hour Members.

New Band Uniforms |
In 2001 the Band of the Hour Association was able to help fund the purchase of new uniforms. The new uniforms were debuted at the 2001 Rose Bowl Game where the Hurricanes won their fifth football National Championship.

Alumni Band |
The Band of the Hour Association hosts an Alumni Band Reunion every two years or as announced. It serves as a historic reunion of Band of the Hour alumni centered around the University of Miami Homecoming festivities and the Band of the Hour.
This year the Band Alumni will be having a Reunion so make your plans to attend this year in 2014.

Auto Fundraisers |
The Band of the Hour Association raised funds through two different car fundraisers. The first of which was a Cadillac raffle that was drawn at a University of Miami baseball game. The winner won a choice between three different Cadillac cars. The second of which was a Classic Ford Mustang raffle that was given away again at a Hurricane baseball game.

Band Participation & Excellence Awards |
The Band of the Hour Association helps to fund the awards given to the students who participate in the Band of the Hour. Yearly accomplishments are awarded and plaques are given to student leaders and outstanding members. These awards are typically given at the yearly banquet.
