The Executive Board of Directors

Bonnie Hinck-Baldatti - President

Bonnie Baldatti, an alum of the Band of the Hour, recieved her bachelors of music in 1978 from the University of Miami. She was a member of the band for 3 years as a french horn/F trumpet player. She has been a member of the Greater Miami Symphonic Band for 21 years and currently sits first chair in the french horn section. After a career as a flight engineer with Pan American Airlines, Bonnie currently works as a public school teacher in Dade county. She has held her position as VP since 2004.

Joe Bagierek - Vice President

Joe Bagierek, an alum of the Band of the Hour and former Band Captain, recieved his bachelors degree in Music Business and Entertainment Industries from the University of Miami in 2003. He was a member of the band for 4 years serving as Executive Officer and Band Captain in 2002 and 2003 respectively. He has been a student representative for the association and has served as its treasurer since 2005. Joe is a member of Tau Beta Sigma. He is currently pursuing his MBA at the University of Miami.

Executive Secretary - Nancy Rosenberg

Nancy G. Rosenberg, an alum of the Band of the Hour, received her Bachelors and Masters of Music from the University of Miami. She played clarinet in the Band for 3 years. She is currently a member of FEMEA and MENC. She has been a trustee of the association since 2002 and executive secretary since 2004. Nancy currently teaches public school music at Emerson Elementary in Miami, a position she has held for the last 29 years. For fun, she plays B-flat clarinet in the Greater Miami Symphonic Band.

Alan Harriet - Immediate Past President; HOF 2007

Alan J. Harriet, an alum of the Band of the Hour, recieved his B.B.A. from The University of Miami in 1985. He was a member of the band for 5 years as a trombone player. Alan is a member of Tau Beta Sigma as well as a member of the Tau Beta Sigma Board of Trustees. He has been a trustee since 2001. Alan was elected president of the Band of the Hour Association in 2004, after a term as Vice President. He currently works for the Internal Revenue Service and resides in Hollywood, Florida.

Phil Clements - Associate Director of Bands; Director "Band of the Hour"

Phillip L. Clements is the Associate Director of Bands and Director of the “Band of the Hour” at the University of Miami. Before assuming the role this year, Mr. Clements served as Associate Director and Director of the UTA Marching Band. Prior to his appointment at UTA, Mr. Clements taught at Lake Highlands High School in Dallas, TX and at the University of North Texas in Denton from which he received both the Bachelor’s and Masters degrees.

Helen Tallman Braithwaite - Former President; Director

Helen Tallman Braithwaite is a director and former president of the Band of the Hour Association. She has been a member of the board since its inception in 1993. Helen holds a BS from SUNY, a masters in Education from the University of Miami, and a Master of Library and Information Services from Florida State University. Helen is an member of Iron Arrow, Tau Beta Sigma, and Delta Kappa Gamma She is the current Hurricane Club president, a former University of Miami Alumni Association President, and a council member of the UM Board of Trustees. Helen was awarded official Band of the Hour member status in 1999. Helen currently is the President and CEO of Bratal and Associates.

Golf Tournament Chairperson - Former President; Director; HOF 2006

Cindy Lasso, an alum of the "Band of the Hour," and former Drum Major, recieved her bachelor's degree in international finance and marketing from the University of Miami in 1996. She was a member of the band for 5 years. She most recently served the board as it's President for 4 years. Cindy has been a integral part of the board since 1990. Cindy is a member of Tau Beta Sigma as well as a member of Iron Arrow. Cindy currently works for Power 1 Credit Union as a manager of the eBusiness department.
